Our family has always been rooted in South Africa. So, it was only a matter of time until we fell in love with the country as well. For the very first time, we travelled to South Africa at the end of the year 2015 and also spend New Year’s Eve there. This was our honeymoon. And of course the travel agency recommended us
to visit Capetown and travel along Garden Route. There is no doubt that a safari in the Kruger National Park should not be left out either.
In the past 5 years we used every chance to experience and immerse into the incredible beauty of South Africa.
In Capetown you can feel the pulse of time – the cool summer breeze gets mixed up with hot vibes of a city that never seems to be sleeping. There is no other city in the world where different cultures and colours are blended in such a special way as they are in Capetown.
As you want to reach the Kruger National Park, you travel along the Garden Route. If you travel at the right time, you will have the possibility to do some whale-watching. All the gorgeous cities along the route may remind you of California. The beautiful picture of the coast with all its cliffs simply resembles an unbelievable painting.
Nevertheless, for us the most indescribable experience remains the true South African nature – which for us represents the cradle of the world that touches and affects us deeply. We are quite aware that it is a transitory beauty. Right at the edge of the Kruger National Park we found our second home. From now on we are going to spend the German winter months in a nature reserve, whose size we can barely comprehend.
We are able to watch wild animals directly from our garden, we discover our private area and the surrounded land by a safari jeep and enjoy the most greatest view that we could have ever wished for while we are working. Believe us, in the African savanna there is always an adventure awaiting you. And it is definitely true as there is nothing more exciting than the untamed wildlife. In our opinion it represents a priceless and valuable good. Africa has completely changed our attitude towards life. This contributes greatly to our vitality and joy of living which are essential for being a photographer and videographer and working as a team.
